Why are people so addicted to online gaming?

I am a ninth grade student at Moline High School, and I am blogging about people with online gaming addictions. This website is a site that helps people get rid of their addiction for their online gaming. It says that it is a 12 step program to help people with their addiction. Online gaming is very addicting the online game World of Warcraft out of the 40% of the 11 million people who play that are addicted to it and some people end up killing them selves over video games. People live at home till they are like 40 years old and some people don't move out. One parent of a 15 year old kid abandoned all other activities to play the game Runescape and the father compared his online addiction to a heroin addiction. That is how bad some addictions get. Some kids play games like that for hours a day because they may get picked on at school and this is how they get away from that. A 15 year old boy in Canada ran away after having getting his xbox 360 taken away for failing grades and spending to much time on his xbox, later his body was found and the death was thought to be from the fall from up in a tree. That is some of the bad things about online gaming. So if you are addicted to a online game try to quit playing so much you never know someday you might want to take your own life like the 15 year old from Canada.

Video Game Addiction.

So i found out that video game addiction is a serious thing in collage and with 18-30 year olds.

It's a bad thing in collage because it takes away the social part of your life and you will easily get behind on homework. It is like a drug to some people and they want to play and play just like some people want to keep doing them everyday. But they have a therapy for it because some people get so addicted to Xbox live that is all they want to do. They are on it any chance they can get. They talk to people all over the world with their headsets and they think that is a social thing but they are just lying to them selves because they don't want to know the truth about how they are throwing there social life away to play video games all day. People aren't supposed to have video games because they didn't have them even not even 100 years ago they did stuff like play sports or go to the park and hang out not sit inside and play a stupid video game all day like 'halo' or Call of Duty or anything like that. That is how people get over weight because they don't get outside and do stuff like that.

My Old Community

As a part of team 3, I am excited to be blogging about co-existence.

My old community was the city of Colona and Colona school. The problem with co-existence there is that there is a lot of bullying and stuff like not letting people in your groups because they are different. They would constantly talk about people behind there backs and not let them hang out with you because there friend didn't like them or something like that. That was the problem with the co-existence there.
